GREGORY BOOK CLUB
The Gregory Book Club (GBC) acts as an auxiliary organization for the Gregory Public Library. In 1910, it was known as the newly formed Gregory Women's Club and it was the primary force behind the founding of a library for our community. The group remains vital to the Gregory Public Library over 100 years later.
Through its dues, active and silent members provide funding for eBooks, special library projects and the annual local Christmas tree book gifts. In 2016, 100 books were purchased as gifts for community children.
The GBC meets five times a year for book discussions and is a member of the web book club Book Movement which may be accessed by members through the link on this page. New members are welcome to join any time. Contact the library for more information. Officers for 2016-17 are: Kathy Kayl, president, Diane Althoff, Vice-President & Secretary, Pat Mattson, Treasurer.
