I am so excited to see that 30 adults have accepted the summer reading challenge this year and are serving as great role models for the children of our community. Even with the addition of extra sessions for some age levels, we are full except for the 11-15 year old group. Way to go, super readers!
This summer we challenged our juvenile readers to reach for the heights by using their representative superhero which clings to a ledge of a tall paper model building. As children record minutes read, they get to move their superhero closer to the top of the structure. We have several spidermen perched on ledges already!
