I was so proud of the TAB group yesterday. They have been branching out this year and planning their own agendas and activities and, well, basically meeting without my intense supervision. November's chosen activity was reading to the seniors at the local nursing home. As they were headed over there, one of the boys whispered to me, "Diane, I really can't read very well." But he went along and visited with the folks and they were just glad to have someone take the time to talk to them. And, of course, afterwards they had brownies, so it was all good.
